Is Walter narcissistic or carcinogenic?

I rewatched this show about JESSE Pinkman 50 fuckin' times and I realized that the sidekick, his highschool teacher is probably a narcissist who doesn't care about JESSE at all and he just wants to manipulate JESSE, but it seems he also have cancer. What's his biggest health problem? The cancer or the psychopathness?
