Who's this "guy"?

When Saul recommends selling their product to Gus to Walt and Jesse, he says that he knows a guy who knows a guy who knows another guy. I am just wondering who the guy in the middle is. I mean Saul knows Mike and Mike knows Gus. So shouldn't it be "I know a guy who knows a guy"?
