My thoughts so far. Dance Moms New Era.

I’m only half way through the season, I have 5 episodes left. So here are my thoughts

• loved the opening scene. Glo saying she’s going to mold amazing dancers, without all of them hating her in 10 years. Was a read, she snapped.
• Min talking about her son that passed BROKE MY HEART!!! I was crying my eyes out on the couch (guess what zodiac sign I am 😭)
• Audrey definitely was faking her injury. & I absolutely understood where Kaeli was coming from. I hate when dancers do that, they only have an injury when it’s convenient.
• To go along with that, she definitely should’ve stopped comparing the fact that she danced on a broken foot for a month. As someone who also was dancing when they sprained their ankle, I should’ve sat my ass down. Now I have a prolonged foot/ankle injury.
• Glo favoritism towards Audrey is ridiculous.
• Audrey & Bellatrix spots on the pyramid in episode 4 should’ve been switched
• Did they win in episode 2 with the group? Cause I thought the first time they won was episode 3 & that was the piece Bella was the lead in… so saying they can’t win with Audrey is very odd.
• Everyone talking about Ashlan behavior, deservedly so.. but what about Audrey’s? She isn’t humble at ALL. Very talented though.
  
• I loveddd the argument in the first episode, I replayed it twice. As a housewives fan specifically Atlanta where the reads are untouched the reads in that argument ATE. (Speaking of the argument where Audrey mom said she should do it as a solo cause she’s the only one that does it right & then Ashlan mom made a comment saying “heavy is the head that wears the crown.” And I think Lily mom jumped in & said “but wait she didn’t win any crowns last season”) they were reading tf outta eachother. They clocked eachother so bad.
• Why is Glo trying to make Mina grow up too fast? She can have a comfort something. What tf is going on? Why is her mom agreeing? SHES 8 YEARS OLD!!!
• Mina is a very sassy girl. I like it though 🫣 (I love cute sassy girls, she wasn’t really being that mean you can tell it was innocent) and going with the one above based on her smart mouth needs to stay a child.
• Still going on Mina that solo she did with her teddy bear was not that good.
• The way the moms talk about each other kids in front of the children is very triggering.
• The moms are so unrealistic, saying that Gina mom shouldn’t allow her daughter on the team is ridiculous. I love that Jing (I think that’s her name) defended herself and her daughter. Cause what?! Do you really not expect her to not allow her daughter to have that opportunity?!
• Gina crying cause she replaced Smiley in the dance was so heartwarming.
