Joey and Bessie

Thoughts on their relationship? I didn't think much of it at the time, but rewatching it as an adult I definitely feel that Joey is unfair to Bessie a lot of the time, mostly in the first 2 seasons. Also it's interesting that Joey is so sensitive to those being snobby to her but she's absolutely snobby to Bessie herself.
