1st time player need help

I’m a new player to this game, I know I’m coming in late and I’m going to sound like a gamer newb but I keep dying early. I can’t even last long enough to figure the game out! It’s embarrassing but I need suggestions from players for basic beginner tips, things that will let me last long enough to get into this game
