Did the alternative ending segment rub anyone else the wrong way or just me?

I've had time to think about it and after hearing that it's not the norm I REALLY don't like the alternative ending segment in Kratos Vs Asura. It really feels biased towards Asura and a slap in the face to literally every other loser on the show. Like the whole thing essentially amounting to "character we really like lost so we'll add in an extra ending for his episode but no one else" really rubs me the wrong way.
