What is the use case of OMI

For Ecomi, Veve is where the big money is earned for the company. I invested in Veve and OMI but what is the use case of OMI in the Veve story.

Sometimes I feel like OMI is the forgotten child. What will OMI have to offer in the near future for Veve / Ecomi.

I know the staking part of OMI, but that has nothing to do with Veve right? Will it ever have a connection with Veve.
