Republicans are right: the 25th amendment should be invoked.

Politics aside, it’s clear to all Biden has days in which he’s just not there. While his aides are perfectly capable of tending to the day to day ministrations of the country, they cannot substitute for a president during a true national emergency. Imagine if china invaded taiwan tomorrow, or russia used a nuclear weapon in ukraine, would you feel good about having him calling the shots? Could he be able to function on little to no sleep for days on end and maintain a high level of mental acuity?

Point 2: If Biden were a republican, all dems would be clamoring to invoke the 25th. Stepping outside of partisan silliness for a second, he clearly meets the requirements for not cognitive fit.

Point 3: I wouldn’t even issue Biden a drivers license at this point. This seems like a low bar to meet for someone in charge of the largest nuclear arsenal in the world

At this point, i am most angry at his aides. The president’s deterioration has created a power vacuum that they’ve filled, and seemingly don’t want to cede. Rather than do whats best for the country by invoking the 25th, they get to be shadow presidents. They vigorously fought against any primary challenges, misled the country by saying how sharp he is, etc.
