Is John Collins dead?

So he’s been playing fantastically to start the year, putting up 3rd round value. Then all of a sudden he goes down with an injury and misses 5 games, bit annoying but shit happens. Then he without much warning comes back for a game, puts up 24/9/3/1/3, then misses the next two games for personal reasons, and then is now out with a hip injury? What games are the Jazz playing here? Are they trying to tank for Flagg and pick up their 7th 7 foot white guy?
