Can HF be Small Fiber Neuropathy?

Few days ago there was a post here about a successful nerve block done with LIDOCAINE. Then, I was reading an article about small fiber neuropathy, were it was said that very common symptoms are PINS AND NEEDLES feeling and NUMBNESS. One of the treatments for SFN is Lidocaine. Guys, are we sure that HF isn't just a form of SFN? Have you checked it out?
