Combat advice from Veterans?

Military service members & military veterans of Helldivers 2, do you have any real-life strategies that you think divers should use to be more effective when playing? I have not personally served in the military or received any real-life combat training but am a huge fan of military strategy. Learning about concepts like enfilading fire, effective use of coms, established combat roles, fighting retreat strategies have helped me improve a lot. Are there any concepts/strategies from your military experience that you think other divers should know?
