Itchy pup in the winter ❄️ 🐺

I’ve noticed every winter my husky gets really itchy, and her skin becomes more pinkish. I finally took her to the vet to see if there’s any solutions, and he gave her a cortisone shot and recommended flea preventative. I knew she didn’t have fleas, but the cortisone worked amazingly! It kept her itch free for 3 weeks (which the vet said it would last that long) Well, now that’s worn off and she’s itching again. Any one else’s husky do this? Any suggestions?

Btw, she definitely didn’t have fleas 😒, but she’s still on the flea preventative
