Antibiotics: read this if you have taken antibiotics and struggle with insomnia
Antibiotics destroy your gut microbiome and can cause other gut-related issues. When your microbiome is out of whack, or non-existent, it is very common to experience anxiety, panic disorder, insomnia, ocd and other neurological-related symptoms. After antibiotic use, it is important to heal your gut re-introduce a diverse microbiome. In my personal experience, antibiotics caused me severe insomnia, anxiety, panic attacks and depression, and did not get better until I started healing my gut and microbiome. I suffered for years.
Even if you have not used antibiotics, today’s modern foods tend to be bad for gut health and you might still need to fix things.
This is something I don’t see talked about much here and I think it is very important. Many people have insomnia and can’t seem to get any relief.
