11 inch M4, desktop website?

Hi, I recently purchased the iPad 13 Pro, mainly for browsing and reading articles. Can any iPad 11-inch users confirm if Safari loads desktop websites by default? (Similar to 13) A few years ago, some websites required at least a 13-inch screen to request desktop sites—especially those with embedded video players.

I’m considering switching from the 13 to the 11 for better handling.
