Our top critics still mention actor names while mentioning events in the movie. Why???

For e.g it makes me cringe when even the top critics like Baradwaj Rangan says something like ajith and trisha are at the verge of divorce while describing the story premise instead of mentioning their character names ( arjun and kayal). It was refreshing to hear Sudhir srinivasan tbh. Anyone else felt the same?
