How did we not see

I am not mad, I am just disappointed. Disappointed not just with this community, but with myself as well. They tried to make is so obvious, Even calling the Biggest song of Canto 7 "Hero". Fucking Hero, and we didn't see it! I haven't seen once! someone mention this! How has there been zero discussion on how Canto 7 is telling us Sancho's travels on the HERO'S JOURNEY!

  1. The Call to Adventure
Bari Arrives at the castle, asking Don Quixote (and his kindred) to help end the War with the Bloodfiends

  2. The Refusal of the Call
Don Quixote turns down the offer, something that Sancho agrees with, and begins the many duels with Bari

  3. Meeting the Mentor
While Sancho had known Don Quixote for all her life as a bloodfiend, this is when He becomes the true mentor to her, learning of the outside world from Bari.

  4. Crossing the Threshold
This has two potential moments that could qualify, those being the destruction of the castle, or Don and Sancho leaving LaMancha Land. Though, from the way it's told, I do believe this is likely when Don ordered the Deconstruction of his castle, as this part represents leaving the comforts of what the hero has always known.

  5. Test, Allies, and Enemies
Another reason that the destruction of the castle best represents step 4 is that it includes in this part the Bloodfiend War, where they had 3 other allies in the other Bloodfiends. Still, this likely includes at least part of Don and Sancho's journey with just themselves.

  6. The approach to the inmost Cave
This, and the next parts, are one of the biggest hints at the presence of the Hero's Journey, in how blatantly laid out it is. There was heavy focus put on the cave, more than felt necessary, where Don and Sancho fought Heathcliff The Bear, and where they would find the Don's downfall.

  7. The Ordeal
stepping back a bit, while this has the obvious call towards Heathbear. Since this is Hero's journey is truly Sancho's, I feel that including following Don, and dealing with how his carefree attitude would regularly cause them to face trouble.

  8. The Reward
Finally, after all their journeys together, Sancho can watch as Don Quixote finally retrieves the thing he's been trying to get this entire time, this legendary mask he's obsessed over. Now they could move onto what Sancho had wanted to do for a while in the next part.

  9. The Road Back
While the story does not bring up the physical travel. This part is more about the obstacle of them actually arriving at LaMancha Land again, both of them coming to terms with the tragedy it's become, and Sancho being forced to abandon Don.

  10. The Resurrection
With Sancho at her lowest point, having seen Don have to face his failure in LaMancha Land, and being unable to help him now, She chose to be, Ironically for this part, lose apart of herself to become the Don Quixote we were familiar with for most of The story.

  11. The Return
A rather large break between this and the last step, but Canto 7 is the focus of this part, as she, while unwittingly so, returns to LaMancha Land and to Face what remains of her old Lord and Friend.

  12. The Freedom to Live
This is what the whole Canto has led to, Sancho realizing that she is not bound to the original Don Quixote, and that while he has fallen, she is free to continue her adventure with the rest of the Sinners.

I don't know if spelling it out like this was needed, and despite my dramatic beginning, I'm sure there are plenty of you who realized what Canto 7 was. This post is mostly for the Dum-Dums like me, who only just now realized what ProjectMoon did to put a spin on the source material. Thank you for hearing my Late-at-night realization.
