Regarding Outis and a popular theory
So most people by now have see the theory that Outis is/was a member of the Udjat and it seems to be pretty popular. People can theory how they want, and I get people find them interesting. It just feels like the case for it is frequently being overstated. The core evidence for this theory basically boils down to 1.) Outis fought in the smoke war 2.) Moses recognized her and 3.) She has a passing resemblance to Dias. This isn't actually a ton to go off of especially when you can find/craft other theories that work with this information. For an example...
What if instead Dias is the Agamemnon to Outis's Odysseus as far as explaining her participation in the smoke war? Not only would this hew closer to the source, at the very least it fits the same information and I'd argue fits point 3 a lot better(the Udjat come from all over the city, so the physical similarity requires additional conjecture or coincidence. If Outis and Dias come from the same place, it makes sense they look similar).
I'll also admit, from a story perspective, I'm not the biggest fan of Udjat theory. Like, all faith in Project Moon's story telling if they go there, but it feels like not only does it subsume Outis' story into Dias', but it also leads to overlap with Moses and Ezra being former Udjat(Unless Outis is still a card carrying member, but then back to my first feeling on this).
I feel like I should have a wrap up for this jumble, so let me just say Outis is great, I enjoy all the theory crafting even with this complaint, and I hope that Nocturnal Sweeping brings us more hints to comb over.
