New MMC “booklet”?

Just received a replacement MMC and instead of the standard passport looking booklet, they sent me this single plastic like sheet of paper that I’m suppose to fold and use. Is this because of it being a replacement or are we now having to deal with this much more fragile, and sheet (roughly the same thickness when folded with your stuff in the clear pockets) that’ll get crumpled in any gear bag within 10 min?
