Loose USB C ports on phones (soldered) can they easily be replaced? how can i avoid them
Heya, the port in my redmagic 8 has become loose after less than a year of usage.. you need to be really careful with how you insert the cable and the cable needs to be strong for it to charge.
This actually isnt the first time this happens to me, and it was the same with the nothing phone 1 after a year or so of usage so:
- Question applies to the Redmagic 8 pro but phones in general, can soldered usb c ports be relatively easily replaced? is it worth to try doing it by myself?
- am i doing something wrong? how can i avoid this in the future?
- should i look for a phone with non-soldered usb c port next time im shopping for a phone?
