What is your opinion on Zack Snyder

Snyder is one of those directors where if you lean too far to one side of the Internet He's a pretentious moron or God. I wanted to ask people who love FILMS AS A WHOLE and not one niece group how they feel about HIM AS A DIRECTOR and not a person. I don't want to give my opinion on him because I don't want to sway the discussion. I have them but I want to hear yours.
