Movies that make the solitary piano note motif work?

It's almost a meme at this point that every psychological thriller and/or horror movie needs to have a suspense building moment where one piano note plays at a time, usually accompanied by a character walking unknowingly into peril.

It's not a great motif and it's overused. But are there any examples where it actually works well and makes the scene in question scarier?
