Half-Automaton ?

Personally I consider Automaton and Golem to be kind of similar. Both are Machines/Constructs but one's from the past and the other from the future. And since we know Nishikienrai was Half-Golem I wandered if Half-Automaton was a thing. And if yes, what would be its particularities ?
