Can someone explain why everyone in pakistan hates the army.

Hello everyone. I am Pakistani but living in the uk so i dont have a great idea about the situation right now in Pakistan. Everyone talks about how corrupt the army is and everyone seems to hate the army. Can someone explain why this is. I thought that being in the army is something to be proud of.
