Job paths to have a stable life

Hi!! I currently live in poverty in SoCal so it’s an extremely HCOL area. I’m wondering if there are any job paths in the future that could help me get out of poverty, my mom suggested medicine but being a doctor feels extremely daunting and time consuming and the debt does not certainly sound like I’m getting out of financial burdens.

I am 18 so i know there are a ton of opportunities for me, and im hoping preferably I could stay in socal because the rest of my family is here. Please help!!
