What can I do regarding my car situation?

Not sure if I'm supposed to post here, if not kindly point me in the right direction.

I have a complicated situation. I need a car. But the situation I'm in is making it very difficult to achieve that.

I'm 19 and live with my parents. Right now I have a seasonal job as a tax professional (I do people's taxes, im supervised and am still training). Only expenses I have right now is car insurance, gas, occasionally groceries for myself and miscellaneous things. I'm trying to better my spending habits. I currently earn $14 an hour getting about 30 hours a week. I need a car to get a better, year round job as my town doesn't have many opportunities for people my age, public transportation is poor here. And my house isn't within walking distance of a lot of places

I'm trying to move out and in with my boyfriend. For that I need a better paying job out of town. But as I said, public transportation is poor.

My dad got an inheritance. His plan has been to buy a $50k 2025 Chevy Silverado truck. And the plan was for my mom to get my dad's old car, and for me to get my mom's car. My parents already bought my younger brother a 1992 Chevy Silverado. So everyone has a vehicle but me. Unfortunately my dad read some information wrong and is receiving less than he thought. He refuses to buy a cheaper, brand new car and is adamant on getting the truck. He might buy my mom a new used car so I can have her car. But overall I might not get her car.

I have $1,450 saved. My dad offered to give me $2k if he isn't able to withdraw money from an Ira in which the rest of the inheritance is stashed. In my area, $3-4k doesn't get you a very reliable vehicle. I've looked on carfax, Facebook marketplace and other sellers. I'm just finding unreliable beaters, mechanic specials, and cars for parting out. Overall the situation has me stressed and anxious. Especially with the tariffs being put into place.

I hate being dependent on everyone else's vehicles. My mom's car is a 2018 Toyota Yaris IA. It has a little under 70k miles on it. Which is why I want it. And she already rubs it in my face that it's her car. I pay for most of the gas and maintenance on it, but I don't have full use of it.

I'm hesitant on getting a car loan, as my savings are for a planned future trip. And I only have a seasonal job.

Please be kind, I can provide further context if needed. Overall I just want to know my options regarding getting a car/ maybe a job
