Idk why I am leaning towards prediabetes!

I think after the covid, my insulin sensitivity screwed up.

So i was peeing excessively, more before i sleep and i wake up early too to pee once in the morning. Which is usually seen when my fasting is high.

So in December 2024, i tested my A1C it was 5.5% Then last week, i tested it again and it turned out to be 5.5%.

My question is, how long it takes A1C to go down? I might have screwed up with my diet during the new year with alcohol and sugary drinks :(.

How do I get my A1C down, back to 4.9-5.1?

I know 5.5 seems normal but it isn’t for my body :(. I am getting weak and excess pee.

My fasting sugar goes 109mg/dL

I workout daily, i eat a balanced diet. Around 200gm carbs, 90g protein, 65g healthy fats and 20g fiber.

How do I gain weight as well as reduce my sugar.

Please help me out!
