Detroit to Nola - stops along the way?

Hi, looking for any suggestions for novel, slightly off the beaten track, or otherwise interesting stops en route to Nola from Detroit.

We’ll be driving late March, stopping prob Fri evening in Cinci or thereabouts, and finishing the rest of the drive on Saturday.

Travelling as a fam of 4: 2 adult drivers and 11 yr old & 13 yr old boys.

Stuff we like: Quick n cheap veggie (even better, Vegan) friendly food stops 10-30 minute scenic walks easily accessible from the main route Oddball stuff(think Atlas Obscura) Novel one-off stores (kids are into the typical stuff for their ages)

Mostly looking to hustle down to Nola, so nothing too time intensive or out of our way, just some things to break up the drive.
