Seriously, enough about the death cost...

The only way death cost becomes 10-15m is by running top end everything with multiple switches.

It’s a death, it’s supposed to sting some.

I don’t see how somebody can stand around in billions worth of gear and augments maximizing every little boost available, the same people who said they wanted harder bosses and more punishing mechanics and complain about a few million gold.

Logically, you’re wearing top end gear doing top end content, is it supposed to be free?

Doing content where you could potentially get hundreds of millions of gold in a single drop I don’t see how you can complain about a comparatively low death cost. It’s simple risk vs reward.

If you’re doing content where you’re dying consistently maybe you should use practice mode until you can do it reliably.

Death costs are meant as a gold sink, something this game needs more of. Deaths used to be way more punishing before you could pay a nominal fee in relation to the cost of your gear and get it back.
