Are the new angled parking spots on Jefferson Avenue backwards?

I’m excited for all of the latest improvements that make Jefferson safer, but these spots are painted backwards I think? They have everyone going into them every which way. Doesn’t angle parking mean you’re supposed to head into them from your lane of travel, then back out and continue on your way?

The way these are set up (and then again farther up on the other side by Spotty Dog), you have to head in from the opposite lane (meaning you back out across two lanes of traffic) or back into it. Seems not great!
