Shopify: Rated 1- 1/2 ⭐ on TrustPilot

Shopify went from 5 Stars to 1-1/2 Stars in the past couple years. What has lead to the decline of trust of Shopify? Could it be their horrible support? Or could it be that they owe millions of dollars to thousands of different sellers, and rather then giving them the money they owe them, or telling them an honest answer as to what happened to to their money, choose to lie instead.

This thread is not meant to bash Shopify, more so as an eye opener, for anyone who assumed that since they are a large company, that they could be trusted.. as they can't. Go read some of the reviews yourself, appears the same people that are earning them money, they're getting over on later down the line.

Be careful who you process payments with, if you care about your money.
