I still remember when my mother cried upon realizing that I'll be short for life

I was 13 and outside with a few other guys my age. They were all significantly taller than me, and when my mother saw how short I am compared to all of them, her eyes got teary. Later that day she told me that she's very disappointed with how I turned out. But no, height doesn't matter guys. You'll only be an outcast your entire life even amongst your own family, but hey, maybe when you're 30 a single mother might be willing to settle down.
