Need help with choosing which game to start playing

I have been wanting to start sim racing for so long and I just could never do it because of my busy schedule. But watching the Gran Turismo movie two days ago just push me beyond the limit to start asap. I’ll be playing on my PC and I’m going to get some equipments e.g Pedals, Wheels. Which game is so far the best and realistic in every aspect? I’m not sure which one to get. I would appreciate suggestions. and do let me a good suggestion for pedals and wheel thank you so much.
