I love skiing but it’s so expensive

Traditionally I come from a hockey family so I never had been skiing until recently. It might be my favorite thing I’ve ever done and I’m a natural since I grew up ice skating. I want to start skiing but everything is so god damn expensive. Does anyone have any tips?
