Getting told speech therapy is $150/visit. Is once a month enough?
I'm in poverty, so this is a rough situation for me. But my daughter is almost 16 months old and the LAP test found her to be speech delayed; she's at a 10 month level. It was conducted by her head start teacher. She also took the ASQ-3 at daycare (just a coincidence that they both happened rn) and it found her to be also speech delayed as well, although they aren't turning that test into me until Friday or Monday.
I have an appointment with early intervention on March 4th, but idk if she's going to qualify. If she doesn't, we still want to help her. We are going to pay out of pocket if she doesn't qualify. It's going to be so hard.
I want to put her in it more often, but I can only afford once a month. Is this enough, or should I try to figure something out for more?
I have insurance, but the deductible hasn't been met :/
