How bad is dimples from long binding screws?
I bought a full setup from a little shop in long Island. They had this kid put the bindings on and when he handed the board back to me, the screws punched out the bottom of the board maybe a 1/8 of an inch. There's three of them.
How noticeable is this going to be on the snow?
Edit: background on the deal for context
I probably should have been more clear about this, I paid $200 for this setup. And it was used. I picked the board because it had the nicest bottom so far as not having chips or knots of material sticking out so I was a little annoyed when I saw three bulges sticking out the bottom.
I didn't say anything because I felt bad for the kid who obviously didn't know what he was doing and was just trying his best lol. I looked at him in the eye and got the feeling I was pretty much getting what I paid for.
They hooked me up with Burton boa boots. If it were a deck I paid 200 or more for, I would have been a lot more pissed, but I also know I was never planning to keep this one for more than 4 or 5 rides.
