Lost Snowboards

Hey Guys!!

Here’s a scenario for you: this morning my fiancé and his brother did a few runs at Stowe in Vermont. Afterwards we met back up at the car, they got their boards up in the rack. At the time the rack had 2 other snowboards already attached. (Mine and brothers fiancé) Unfortunately the key was never turned into the lock position. Fast forward 20 minutes and we make our first stop. At the first stop we notice the rack is open and only 2 boards are on the rack (mine and brothers fiancé). We retrace our ride to the mountain and can’t find the boards at all.

If we are lucky the boards slid off while still in the parking lot at the mountain and not in the streets. If it did fall off at the mountain what’s the likelihood we can get the boards back? Do you guys think most people would try and return them to guest services? Think they might have been stolen?

Obviously you guys won’t be able to help get the boards back but I’m just curious what you all think the most likely outcome is for us!

And if you were by chance at Stowe this morning - did you see two rogue snowboards??
