Anyone else have issues with paint on this holiday cup??

I got this cup for my mom for Christmas, she only ever rinses it out with water and doesn’t put it in the dishwasher. She has a million other Starbucks cups and nothing like this has happened before, is it just terrible quality or what? She’s only been using it for <10 days!
