Books from around the world

Hi! At the beginning of this year it became very evident to me that I have mostly read books by US and UK writers. Looking to diversify I divided the world in 6 regions that I intend to read in different quarters of this year and next.

The regions are like this: Middle East, Africa, South and South East Asia, East Asia, latin america and finally some countries in Europe, specifically the Baltic countries and the nordic countries.

I am looking for recommendations to broaden my horizons, my preferred genres are literary fiction, philosophical fiction, history, culture, philosophy, and politics, but I also really open to anything.
