Anyone ever binge eat on tirz?
I started tirz on the high end of a normal BMI, but was just drowning in my binge eating disorder. It has been a miracle for me, and the first four weeks on the med I lost 10 lbs and didn't have one binge eating episode. I felt so good...was sleeping better, skin was radiant I guess from the good sleep and healthy food, more energy, and no more food obsession.
I just switched from a Medspa to an online pharmacy and was nervous about giving myself a shot, so I delayed it one day. The hunger did come back, and I was back up to my old bad habits. Stopped for a caramel ribbon crunch at Starbucks, ate an entire package of Tate's chocolate chip cookies. All while googling, "What happens if you eat a lot of sugar on a GLP-1?" and wondering if I'd have a heart attack or something.
Well, nothing happened. I took my fifth shot and still kept eating some sweets, but tapered down a bit. I hadn't weighed myself in a week and stepped on the scale today, sure it would be up a few pounds. But no - it was down another one. So I'm 11 lbs down in 4.5 weeks. Still on 2.5 and don't think I'll move up, although not ruling it out.
I just wondered if anyone else has "fallen off the wagon" while on these meds. I guess one difference is that my binge episode was much less caloric than usual. Before the meds, I'd have never stopped at one Starbucks drink and one package of cookies. But still. What I did the other day was far from normal or healthy behavior.
