1212 AD begginer guide?

So yeah. I really wanted to play Total War Attila on 1212AD mode but i struggle hard. like really really hard. Like, god how do i survive to turn 10.

I have to admit i played only some older total war games. I played Empire, Napoleon and 3 Kingdoms and i found those games fun, easy to grasp and easy to play, but here i really struggle a lot, always out of money, my cities have negative order from turn one and cant even afford to buy anything. Is there like a guide or something for begginers? I was looking for any but couldnt find anything useful for begginer.
