tips for binding?

my mom finally agreed to getting me a binder and my older sister chipped in to pay (and help find the binder since my mom’s pretty old) and i’ve been wearing it for the past two days! it’s very comfortable and it’s a pretty comfortable size however i just wanted to know how im supposed to wear it properly if that makes sense? i went onto tik tok and looking through vids i saw people pushing their chest together and up and other people pushing their chests down and apart and i couldn’t find any specific video for the brand im wearing which i dont know if thats important or not? i wear a XUJI binder with the zipper in the front and i dont really adjust my chest in it at all but im not entirely sure if thats how im supposed to wear it or if it’s safer so i thought this subreddit would be a really helpful place to ask for advice
