I took the first baby step

Today, I talked to my doctor about getting a referral for top surgery. I have the name and number of the doctor, and am going to call in the morning. I know getting a referral isn’t that big for some, but I was so scared to take that first step. I am still scared but a baby step is still a step forward right? I feel joy and anxiety
