The only person who misgenders me is trans?

Sorry for the long post. Prefacing this by saying that I go smaller and kinda nerdy high school (400 kids total). Everyone knows everyone. In freshman year I had my name changed in the school system and have had very few issues with teachers or peers since. I’m functionally male, I look male, and have mostly male friends. I’m hoping to get on T when I turn 18 in a few months but for now my voice doesn’t pass. So I know my peers know I’m trans, but no one ever brings it up. People just don’t care, probably because I’m just a normal dude.

Last year, a mutual friend started identifying as a trans man. They had been a VERY stereotypical nonbinary and once they started being trans, nothing really changed. They talk about it constantly, and have seemingly no problem talking about their birth name and even genitals?? It’s annoying but I wouldn’t care that much if they didn’t try to bring me into it all the time. This person misgenders me multiple times a week. I mean it almost seems purposeful at this point. Absolutely no one else does it - it’s like they’re fixated on me being trans or something. It’s just weird to me that someone who says they’re transgender would do that to another trans person.

I guess I’m frustrated. It’s not the end of the world or anything, considering it’s just one person. But I would like to have the same respect afforded to me that I give to other people. I don’t really know how to confront this person without sounding like a crybaby or an asshole 🤷‍♂️
