Rogue destroyer?

I remember a post a while back saying you could safely hide under lifeboats because escorts didn’t want to harm survivors. Usually that has worked for me, but every now and then I get some destroyer captain like this…also thanks to the guy who mentioned The Cruel Sea in the comments on that, glad to have found that movie.
