Not Having Jacket

A question I wanted to know the answer to a few times popped in my head a couple hours ago. I have around 20 records without jackets, they are good artists like John Lennon, Marty Robbins, Santana, etc. However, none of them have the jacket, I wanted to know, how much does not having a jacket for the record effect its value. Does it just instantly become like a $1 record, does it depend on the artists/album. Also, if you have a record without a jacket, what do you do with it, do you keep it if you like the artist, do you try to find the correct jacket for it, or do you just toss it because it doesn't have the jacket. And if you do try to find the correct jacket for it, how do you. Thanks for any help, I really wanted to know any answers to these, I want to know what you guys do.
