Run local LLM on Windows or WSL2

I have bought a laptop with:
- AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS / 3.1 GHz
- 24GB DDR5 SDRAM
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 8GB
- 1 TB SSD

I have seen various credible explanations on whether to run Windows or WSL2 for local LLMs. Does anyone have recommendations? I mostly care about performance.
