This is really good! I liked how you used imagery in your poem. Also, though there is no obvious rhyme to it, there is a certain rhythm, which is something that is hard to do, and it's really impressive. ^^ Definitely a new favorite.

Truthfully, I had to read this one over a few times before I was able to get the message (hopefully), but it was worth it. The poem was really enjoyable to read and very intriguing. I'm not an expert at giving feedback so forgive me if what I'm saying doesn't make sense, but I do like the way you structured the poem. It helps me immerse myself further more into it or at least helps me understand the thought of the lines better. Take the 7th stanza for example, the line breaks made the line about growing up not being the point more impactful. Moreover, I really enjoyed your use of metaphors and comparisons, it made the poem feel whimsical in a way.
